Well, I got my wish, it's snowing in Vancouver. It's apparently snowing very hard in the outlying suburbs. I am glad that it's actually snowing in Van city but I wish it had snowed on Christmas. But, anyway, it was sunny and warm on Christmas, and that was good too. Joel and I had a lovely Christmas. It was relaxing and all about luxury. We gave each other luxurious gifts, like, I got some fuzzy slippers, and he got a fuzzy robe. We drank wine, Barolo of couse, and ate some cheese. We had pate also, and Tiramisu that I got our Pastry Chef to make. It was lots of indulgence. Joel's cousin, Don came in to visit from Montreal. He spent Christmas Eve with us. We also went to see Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King on Christmas day.
Us, and everyone else. I got the chance to speak, and see, my folks on Yahoo messenger. I think that's great, 'cause I don't get to see my parents very often. So, all in all, it was a very nice Christmas. Hope it was for you too!

Hello, I am just finishing up at work, and I am going to go to Subway for a sub. (imagine that!) I was just re-reading my gorgeous husband's blog pages and was struck with a whole lot of loving. Joel: I love you very much. You are very sweet. I am thankful for our weekend and the dinner you cooked was marvelous. For everyone else, we had some lovely Tenderloin steaks. yummy. I also spent a better part of the weekend gazing at our new fibre optic tree. It's just like the flower boxes that Nana has. The ones that change colour when you plug them in. (Ice cold)

Hello everybody in hyperspaceland I am just writing a brief note. Not like theone my father wrote today. Reads like a novel. I just received a package containing short stories written by my mom. I will make time to read them tonight, as I am without work today. Or is it work that is without me today, well, same thing I guess. I feel like doing all manner of shopping, but without the spending. Can't do that though. Haven't invented that system yet. I'm sure that Dad will get right on that. hehehe

Hello everybody, I am at work, just procrastinating...There I go again. Well, let's see...I am going shopping in about an hour. I need to get some clothes, and gifts for Christmas. I chatted with Nana last night. Always a pleasure to talk with her. Sounds like she's all set for Christmas. She's got lots of chocolate, ( just don't tell her I told you) and some carol singing animals. (not real, of course.) I told her I've been making her *Famous Puffed Wheat Candy*. I have been eating a lot of it too. It's a tradition in my family. And, now I'm carrying it on. Joel is very happy about that. We're planning an extremely low-key Christmas. We're on our own for the first time. Looks like we'll be going to see a movie, and relaxing. There won't be much for us to open in the way of gifts. I'm getting some fuzzy slippers and some oven mitts, which I need! I don't fully know what Joel is wanting. I'm not sure that he knows. Anyway,....I should really get back to work. At the least, so that I can get to shopping faster. Take care.

Well, here it is. It's Wednesday, only at the time of writing it's thursday. I am just finished work and I am looking forward to my weekend. I will finally be getting my hair cut on Friday. It is just getting ridiculous. Joel and I watched Pirates of the Caribbean last weekend. It is full of such good acting. A real adventure film. Reel good fun! I am tired. (yawn) I guess there's nothing really left to say. Goodnight.

so, in another thrilling attempt to take the photographic world by storm, I had a piece in a show at Exposure Gallery. I attended the opening night on Thursday of last week. It was an exciting buffet of art, wine and cheeses. Could there ever really be a better arrangement of pleasures? I don't think so. I was there for about an hour, and then Joel, my gorgeous husband, and I went for drinks at the Brass Monkey. Yup, just the three of us. Naw, just kidding. Joel is my gorgeous husband. We had drinks, dessert and some great conversation.
It's been a trying week. I went also, last monday, to the Italian wine and food tasting at the Coast plaza Hotel. What a wonderful spread!! I tried some fantastic proscuitto, breads, and of course, wine. Vino. Yummy vino.
I'm just starting to feel like it's christmas. We decorated a tree at the restaurant today!!! A noble Fir. It looks mighty noble. I also made some chocolate chip cookies today, which always makes me feel like Christmas. AND.....I threw in the christmas music, so that we could feel the spirit. That's like a cross between nostalgia and generosity for all you non-christmas types. Nothing like Boney M to really engage the christmas senses. Oh, also, my cards were made today, so, expect them soon.!!!
